From seasonal arrangements to holiday wreaths, gather at Flori's countryside in Woodinville, WA to learn sustainable, garden-inspired floral design from Lori Poliski, using locally sourced blooms and primarily foraged greenery from her own cottage-style property.
Workshop Details
Bring up to three friends, or come on your own. I keep these classes small on purpose: four people at most, or one-on-one. Everyone gets real help at the table instead of watching a demo from across the room.
We work with what's in season, much of it grown in my garden in Woodinville or picked up from local farms down the road. I never use floral foam. You'll learn the same mechanics I use for weddings and events, so you'll know how to do it again at home.
Classes run about [2 hours] at my Woodinville studio, or I can come to you. All flowers, tools, and materials are included, and you take everything you make home with you.

Choose a Project
- Floral design basics. Build an arrangement in a vase or compote. You'll learn how to prep stems, set up a structure that holds, and pick colors that look deliberate, not random. Prices starting at $175 per person.
- Flower crowns. These are fresh, wearable, and easier than they look. They're a good fit for birthdays, showers, or a Tuesday. Prices starting at $175 per person.
- Garlands. Make one for a mantel, a table, or a doorway. You'll layer greens and blooms so the garland looks full from every angle. Prices starting at $195 per person.
- Wreaths. We start with a reusable or compostable frame, then add local greens, branches, pods, and dried flowers, depending on the season. Prices starting at $195 per person.
- Terrariums. You'll work with glass, moss, and small plants. This is the one project that keeps growing after you take it home. Prices starting at $175 per person.
Good for
A night out with friends. A slow morning with tea. A birthday that isn't another dinner reservation. A date, a small team outing, or one person who wants to learn properly.
Food and drinks
Add morning tea and pastries or a grazing board for your group. Tell me about any allergies when you book. You're welcome to bring your own wine, beer, or cider (21+), and I'll have glasses ready. Additional $20-40 per person.
Corporate and larger groups
Bring flowers to your team. For groups of up to 20, I add extra staff so everyone still gets hands-on help at the table. I'll come to your office, venue, or offsite, and any of the projects above will work. Food add-ons are available here too. (Extra staff may be required- Class rate + $20 per person per hour)
Add a bloom bar to your next party
I'll set up buckets of seasonal, locally grown flowers and greens at your party, and your guests build their own bouquets to take home. I stay to help people pick stems, then wrap and tie each bouquet. It works well for birthdays, showers, open houses, and company gatherings, and nobody has to sit through a class to join in. (Up to 3 hours, on-site, $45 bouquets May-Sept, $60 Oct-Apr, $600 - $750 minimum, plus travel)
